ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, host the Reading Royals for the final time this season in another DeMet's Candy Cup Challenge Series matchup followed by a visit to Wheeling for the final two meetings against the Nailers this season.

2/26 vs. Reading Royals - 7:05 p.m. EST
Home vs. REA 1-4-0, Away vs. REA 3-2-0
Friday night's tilt with the Reading Royals will mark the 124th all-time regular season meeting between the Jackals and Royals, making Reading the most frequently played opponent of the Jackals. This matchup will be the 11th of 12 overall meetings this season and the last of six at First Arena. The Jackals are 55-56-12 al-time against the Royals, including a 4-6-0 record this season. The last meeting was a wild back-and-forth affair with 12 combined goals with the Royals outlasting the Jackals 7-5. Nine different Jackals recorded at least one point and Allan McPherson, Cason Hohmann, Mark Bennett, Kyle Bushee and Guy LeBoeuf each tallied multi-point efforts. Cason Hohmann and Colin Jacobs lead the Jackals against the Royals with four goals and Hohmann leads the team with 11 points in nine games against Reading.
2/27 at Wheeling Nailers - 7:35 p.m. EST; 2/28 at Wheeling Nailers - 4:05 p.m. EST
Home vs. WHL 1-1-1, Away vs. WHL 1-0-0
This weekend the Jackals make their final visit to Wheeling, West Virginia for a two-game set against the Nailers. The meetings on Saturday and Sunday will mark the final two of six total matchups this season and the second and third at WesBanco Arena, which is the second-lowest total in a single season between the Jackals and Nailers. Elmira is 43-33-12 all-time against Wheeling. This will also be the first year since the 2010-11 campaign that these two former divisional rivals have not faced off at least 13 times. In the last contest, Justin Bernhardt scored the opening goal and Spiro Goulakos added a goal and an assist in his first game back from Rochester, but the Nailers skated away with a 3-2 overtime win on a controversial high-sticking play that led to the game-winning goal. Tyler Currier leads the Jackals with three goals against the Nailers and Currier and Chris Langkow lead the team with three points against Wheeling.

Spiro Goulakos scored and added an assist in his return to the Jackals while Justin Bernhardt recorded his eighth goal of the season and fourth point in the last three games but the Jackals fell to the Wheeling Nailers in overtime, 3-2. For the full recap...click here.
2/19 vs. Adirondack Thunder: W 2-1 SO
For the third consecutive game and the fourth time in the last five contests the Jackals went past regulation defeating the Adirondack Thunder tonight in the shootout, 2-1. Colin Jacobs scored the lone goal in regulation and also added a shootout goal with Cason Hohmann scoring the shootout winner. C.J. Motte made 37 saves to earn the victory. 2/20 vs. Adirondack Thunder: L 1-3
For the fourth consecutive game the Jackals have recorded 40 or more shots on goal and for the second time in the last four games they have recorded 50 or more shots on target, but Drew Fielding's career night sent the Jackals to a 3-1 defeat. Matt Garbowsky scored the lone Jackals goal and Justin Bernhardt's assist extended his point streak to five games. C.J. Motte turned aside 26 of 29 shots faced. For the full recap...click here.
2/21 at Manchester Monarchs: L 2-3
Tyler Currier scored his 16th goal of the season, tying the team-lead held by Cason Hohmann and Allan McPherson, and Spiro Goulakos recorded his team-leading fifth power-play goal of the season but two special teams goals in the third period for Manchester pushed the Monarchs past Elmira 3-2.
