Colin Pepperall Debuts with Reading Royals

READING, PA â Colin Pepperall will make his debut with the Reading Royals Friday, Nov. 22, when the Royals face off against the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05 p.m. in the Sovereign Center. The Reading Royals acquired the rights to Colin Pepperall from the Greenville Grrrowl for cash considerations. Pepperall was drafted by the New York Rangers in the fifth round, 151st overall in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Last season, he scored 20 goals and 55 points in 66 games with the Greenville Grrrowl â the 2002 Kelly Cup Champions. Pepperall will be reuniting with two of his former Grrrowl teammates from last season â Reading Royals' defenseman Simon Tremblay and left wing Steve Rymsha.
Pepperall, 24, of Niagara Falls, Ontario, was picked up from the UK's Manchester Storm (BISL), which dissolved early this month due to financial problems. See stats on next page.
Reading Royals Holiday Party
Tickets are on sale now for the Reading Royals Holiday Party, which will be held Sunday, Dec. 15, following their match-up with the Peoria Rivermen at 5:05 p.m. in the Sovereign Center. The holiday party will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Outside In Restaurant & Bar, 601 Penn St., Reading. The entire Reading Royals team will be attendance and will be available for pictures and autographs.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children ages 16 and under. The cost includes a hors d'oeuvres buffet, wine, domestic draft beer and non-alcoholic beverages. DMK Sound Productions will provide entertainment. Tickets are available at the Reading Royals office, 35 N. Sixth St., Reading, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; the Outside In Restaurant & Bar; and during Royals home games at the CEI Networks Fan Appreciation Booth.
All ticket proceeds benefit Royals Charities.
