Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, host of the 2010-11 ECHL All-Star Classic and ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, have won ten of their last twelve games and five of their last six on home ice. They will take the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 14 and 15.
FRIDAY: On Friday, the Condors take on the Alaska Aces at 7 p.m. for Colby Lewis Night, presented by My 45 and KUZZ 107.9. World Series pitcher from the Texas Rangers, and Bakersfield native, Colby Lewis will be available at the Condors Photo Booth during pregame and the first and second intermissions for autographs and photos. He will also drop the ceremonial first puck. Colby Lewis was born in Bakersfield, and played at both North High School and Bakersfield Junior College before the Texas Rangers drafted him in the first round in 1999. This season, he became the first Texas pitcher in franchise history to win a playoff game at home. He was also the first Rangers pitcher to win a World Series game when he won Game 3, the only game won by Texas in the series. Colby posted a 3-0 playoff record with a 1.71 ERA and 24 strikeouts. Prior to the contest, William B. Bimat Elementary and Olive Drive ElementarySchool staff members will be engaging in an inter-conference Broomball Showdown. Also, five lucky kids from Norris Elementary school will earn the chance to sit on the bench during warm-ups in recognition for their efforts with a Norris School District fundraiser. At the first intermission, there will be a check presentation to the Norris School District for their fundraiser done in conjunction with the Condors. Following that, the Norris Middle School cheerleading squad will perform their moves on the ice
SATURDAY: The following day, Saturday, Jan. 15, the Ontario Reign come to Bakersfield for a special noon start time. Yogi Bear and Boo Boo will be in the house visiting Condorstown all the way from Jellystone Park and fresh off their major motion picture, sponsored by Bright House Networks and 101.5 KGFM. They will be available at the Condors Photo Booth for pictures with the fans. It is also a Bright House Networks Family Day, where Bright House subscribers can receive $7.00 admission by presenting the coupon available in their cable bill or bill envelope. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
All fans in attendance on Saturday will get a Condors All-Star poster at the game as well. It is also a Kids Club Day, where all members of the Condors Kids Club receive free admission to the game with their member ID, courtesy of Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian, and Wells Fargo. It is a Condors Classroom Champions Day as well, sponsored by ABC23, SC Architect, and Kern County Firefighters. Students at participating schools who achieve outstanding attendance levels earned a complimentary ticket to the game through the Condors Classroom Champions program.
Before the start of the game, Kaleigh Meister will be performing the National Anthem. She is representing Country Oaks Baptist Church, who is celebrating a successful fundraising effort with the Condors.
During the first intermission Saturday, 3 Way Chevrolet will hold a Vehicle Parade on the ice.
Following every home game, players will be available at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center Autograph Booth, located on the arena concourse behind section 108. LW Brad Snetsinger and D Evan Stoflet will be available on Friday, and F Bobby Robins and C Adam Naglich will take their places on Saturday. Players will be available approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of each contest to greet fans and sign autographs.
The Condors start the week on the road, as they head to Stockton to battle with the Thunder this Wednesday. The game starts at 7 p.m. The Condors are currently two points behind the first place Las Vegas Wranglers in the Pacific Division, and lead third place Stockton by three points.

Saturday's game will be aired on Fox Sports Radio 970 AM, as well as broadcast on Bright House Networks Cable Channel 21. All televised contests will also be available on Bakersfield On Demand Cable Channel 300, starting the following day.
Fan Fest and Hall Of Fame Lunch:
The Fan Fest will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Bakersfield Marriott hotel from 6 to 9 p.m. For just $10, you get an All-Star hat, rally towel, and poster, as well as a sampling of food from Bakersfield's "All-Star" restaurants. Tickets for the Fan Fest can be purchased by calling the Condors at (661) 324-7825. Prior to the All-Star Classic on the 26th, fans have an opportunity to participate in the Hall of Fame Luncheon. Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more, and fundraising options are available as well, allowing organizations to make up to $10 for every ticket sold for their non-profit.
