Wranglers Add Higgins

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers© announced that they have agreed to terms with center Chris Higgins.

Higgins, 24, joins the Wranglers while on their road trip in Victoria. A native of Lynfield, MA, Higgins comes to Las Vegas after spending 2009-10 split between the Gwinnett Gladiators and the AHL's Syracuse Crunch. The 5-11, 185-lb center appeared in 20 games with Gwinnett last season, scoring nine goals and earning seven assists for 16 points. He skated in six games with Syracuse.

Before his professional career began, Higgins was with the NCAA's Boston University. In 159 career games with the Terriers, he totaled 133 points (49g, 84a).

The Wranglers also added Trevor Stead as an emergency back up goaltender.

The Las Vegas Wranglers© are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.

2010-11 prorated season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
