Quad Cities got to Brian Mattoon for three runs, two earned, on six hits and a walk in four innings and Joldy Watts yielded two runs in two and a third as the L-Kings (34-29) lost a game on the Swing (33-30) in this battle for second place in the MWL West.
Kevin Richardson went yard with a solo shot for his only hit in four trips and Micah Furtado singled and reached on an HBP, scoring twice in four plate appearances.
