
Chiodo reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned goaltender Andy Chiodo from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, it was announced Tuesday.
Chiodo, 22, has appeared in six games with the Nailers this season, posting a 5-1 record with a 3.45 goals against average and a .868 save percentage.
Chiodo has appeared in 66 games in parts of three seasons with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, posting a 27-29-4 record with six shutouts and a 2.61 goals against average. He has also appeared in eight games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, going 3-4-1 with a 3.46 goals against average.
Chiodo was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the seventh round (199th overall) of the 2003 Entry Draft.
