Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs (8-13-0-1) will look for their second straight win tonight when they face the Manitoba Moose (13-7-1-2) in the first of back-to-back games at the MTS Centre. Hamilton won the season series in 2004-05, posting a record of 6-2-0-0. The Bulldogs are currently tied with the Cleveland Barons for sixth place in the North Division with 17 points. The Moose sit in second place with 29 points. Hamilton and Manitoba will face off again on Wednesday in Winnipeg. The first meeting between these two teams in Hamilton will take place on January 7 at Copps Coliseum (7:00 p.m.).

BULLDOGS NOTES

- LW Brad Winchester recorded five points (3g, 2a) in the Bulldogs last game on Saturday, November 26 (6-5 W) against the Grand Rapids Griffins. It was Winchester's first professional hat trick, and he also now leads the Bulldogs with six power-play goals.

- C Corey Locke took over the team scoring lead with 18 points (6g, 12a) after recording three assists in Saturday's game.

- RW Andrei Kostitsyn posted 1g-3a against Grand Rapids

- D Mathieu Roy and Locke each skated in their 100th AHL game against the Griffins.

- LW Peter Vandermeer appeared in his 400th career AHL game against Grand Rapids.

BULLDOGS IN REMATCH WITH MOOSE TOMORROW

The Bulldogs next action will take place tomorrow night, Wednesday, November 30, when they face the Moose for the second straight night at the MTS Centre. Game time is 8:30 p.m.

BULLDOGS NEXT HOME GAME

The Bulldogs next home game will take place on Friday, December 2, when the Toronto Maple Leafs AHL Affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, visit Copps Coliseum for the third time this season. Both teams will be wearing specialty jerseys honouring the rivalry between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Toronto Argonauts. Tiger-Cat and Argonaut players and alumni will be in attendance. Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
