The Hamilton Bulldogs have some exciting community initiatives planned in the coming weeks including a food drive and â820 CHAM Stuffed Animal Night.'
PLAYERS TO COLLECT DONATIONS FOR SALVATION ARMY!
Bulldogs players will be at Limeridge Mall on Monday, December 5, collecting donations for the Salvation Army. There will be players collecting donations at the mall from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Each person who makes a donation will receive a â2-for-1' coupon to purchase tickets for the Bulldogs game on Friday, December 23, against the Rochester Americans (7:30 p.m.). The Bulldogs thank you in advance for your support.
BULLDOGS TO HOLD â820 CHAM STUFFED ANIMAL NIGHT' ON DECEMBER 10!
The Hamilton Bulldogs will be holding â820 CHAM Stuffed Animal Night' on Saturday, December 10, when the Bulldogs host the Houston Aeros (7:00 p.m.) for the first time since Game 7 of the 2003 Calder Cup Finals. Bulldogs fans are encouraged to bring a new stuffed toy and toss it on the ice after the Bulldogs first goal! All toys that are collected will be distributed to local non-profit agencies in time for the holiday season. Last year, over 2500 toys were donated. Please help bring a smile to a child's face this season by participating in this year's toy toss!
FOOD DRIVE IS UNDERWAY!
The Bulldogs, in conjunction with Foodland, have begun their holiday food drive to benefit the Salvation Army. Bulldogs fans can bring their non-perishable food items to any December home game or to the Bulldogs office, from Monday to Friday, during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) in the month of December.
All fans donating a non-perishable food item will receive a â2-for-1' coupon to purchase tickets for the Bulldogs game on Friday, December 23, against the Rochester Americans (7:30 p.m.). Please help make the holiday season a happier one for those in need!
BRUISER IS GETTING INTO THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT
Bruiser will have a busy day ahead of him on Saturday, December 3! Bruiser will be making many appearances in the community. He starts his day off bright and early at 9:00 a.m. with a "Breakfast with Santa". The event is being held at Regina Mundi School in support of the Knights of Columbus.
From there, Bruiser will attend two children's Christmas parties. The first is the McMaster University Children's Christmas party at the McMaster Student Centre. The second party is a Christmas skate for the Wilson Blanchard Management Group at Copps Coliseum.
Bruiser's busy day will be capped off by a special visit to Slainte Irish Pub for the Desjardins Vanier Cup post-game party. Slainte will be expanding their venue by blocking off the street with a huge outdoor tent to accommodate fans. Bruiser will be there to draw raffle tickets for tons of great prizes, so be sure to get there early!
JUNIOR ICE GIRLS PERFORMING ON DECEMBER 10!
On Saturday, December 10, when the Bulldogs host the Houston Aeros (7:00 p.m.), the Junior Ice Girls dance team will be performing before the game and during the first intermission in the Rink Side Gardens located on the lower level beside the Funzone.
