The El Paso Chihuahuas beat the New Orleans Baby Cakes 5-4 Friday to complete a sweep of the three-game series. It was El Paso's fifth sweep of the year and the first one at home.

The teams exchanged runs early in a game that had four lead changes. Francisco Mejia lined a solo home run to right field in the first inning, his first homer in the Padres organization. Dillon Overton allowed four runs in six innings and got the win for the second start in a row since returning from the disabled list.

El Paso has won nine of its last 11 games and eight home games in a row versus New Orleans dating back to 2014. The Chihuahuas have completed eight straight errorless games.
