During the streak, he is batting .382, (47-for-123), with 21 runs scored, 10 doubles, 11 RBI and an OBP of .437. There have only been five players in Aces history with streaks of 20+ games. Jake Elmore (31, 2012), Ildemaro Vargas (27, 2018), Tony Abreu (24, 2011), Chris Owings (23, 2013), and Ketel Marte (22, 2017). In 2017, Ketel Marte went 37-for-98, .378, with nine 2B, three 3B, one HR and 16 RBI from April 29 through May 22.

Looking Good: Deven Marrero had a breakout game in his second contest with the Aces. The infielder went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, a double and a walk. He's batting .500 over two games and boasts an OPS of 1.292. Marrero was placed on the Disabled List on June 30th with a strained right oblique.

Team Streaks: The Aces have won seven consecutive contests for the first time since July 16th through July 22nd, 2016. The Aces have outscored their opponents 44 to 21 during the streak and have allowed more than two runs just twice.

Potter Baseball: There have been four players with the last name 'Potter' in professional baseball. Dykes Potter (1938), Mike Potter (1976-1977), Nels Potter (1936-1949), Squire Potter (1923). Nels won 92 games in his 12-year career and finished his career with the Boston Braves. He had 627 at-bats, but hit just .228 and never hit a home run.

Sample Size: Harry Potter is considered to be one of the best Quidditch players in history. However, during his six-year Hogwarts career, Harry was limited to just 10 games. In his rookie season, Potter played in the first two matches of the year (Slytherin/Hufflepuff, but was recovering in the hospital wing during the final match against Ravenclaw. His sophomore season looked promising, but the season was canceled due to attacks on Muggle-Borns. The 93-94 season was the only year in which Harry played all three matches, but he was attacked by dementors during the first game against Hufflepuff and spoiled the season.

Game of Crons: Kevin Cron is putting together a historic season. Since May 4, his first game with the Aces, he leads all of professional baseball with 79 RBI. Jesus Aguilar lead the MLB with 68, JD Martinez has 66 with the Boston Red Sox and A.J. Reed has recorded 65 with the Fresno Grizzlies. Will Craig of the Altoona Curve has the second-most in baseball since May 4 with 70. Only Memphis Redbirds outfielder Tyler O'Neil has more home runs in the Pacific Coast League than Cron since that time (20) compared to Cron's 19.

That's a First: Outfielder Jamie Westbrook made his Aces and Triple-A debut last night. He went 2-for-4 with a run scored. This season with Double-A Jackson, Westbrook hit .289 in 105 games with 20 doubles, five triples, and 15 home runs. He led the Generals this year in batting average, runs scored (64), Home runs, RBI (68), and total bases (191). He remains the only player for the Generals this season to appear in more than 100 games.

Historic Bro's: On this date in 2012, brothers Justin Upton (ARI) and Melvin Upton (TB) both homered on the same day for their 100th career blasts. Justin went yard off Kyle Kendrick at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park and Melvin homered off Baltimore's Tommy Hunter. Justin never played for the Aces, but appeared in 15 games for the Tucson Sidewinders in 2008.
