Salt Lake starter Drew Hutchison tossed seven scoreless innings to help lead the Bees to an 11-3 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas on Monday night. Hutchison (2-0) allowed just three hits with nine strikeouts and just one walk in his third start with Salt Lake.

The Bees took a 1-0 lead in the first on a bases loaded walk by Taylor Ward, who leads the PCL with 80 bases on balls. Jared Walsh doubled in a run in the second when his pop fly was lost in the twilight and they scored an unearned run in the third for a 3-0 lead. Kaleb Cowart delivered a two run double in the fourth and Jarrett Parker would also come through with a two run double in the sixth to make it a 7-0 game.

The Bees would close out their scoring with four runs in the seventh on a two run double by Jo Adell and a two run homer by Justin Bour, his 16th of the season. Adell and Bour would lead Salt Lake's 14 hit attack with three hits and two runs batted in each, while Cowart added two hits and two RBI.
