Checkers Offer Fans Ticket Redemption Opportunity
January 27, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Charlotte Checkers News Release
(Charlotte, NC - Tuesday, January 27)- The Charlotte Checkers will offer a ticket-redemption opportunity for all fans who held tickets to Tuesday night's, January 27 game with South Carolina which was impacted by the ice storm that hit the Charlotte area the past two days. All fans including Checkers season ticket, group and individual ticket holders who held tickets for Tuesday's game against South Carolina, will be offered a complimentary ticket (not necessarily for the same seat location) to the Checkers Sunday, February 8 game against the Augusta Lynx (3:00 p.m. faceoff). The free ticket redemption offer is announced tonight by Checkers President Jeff Longo.
"We wanted to reward our dedicated fans who braved the roads and came to Tuesday night's game, as well as reward all ticket holders who decided to stay home and not take to the roads," said Longo. This offer is good whether or not the ticket was actually used to attend Tuesday's January 27 Checkers home game. That is, fans who came to the game Tuesday and those ticket-holders who chose not to attend, can both take advantage of the redemption opportunity. The complimentary tickets can only be redeemed at the Cricket Arena Box Office. Fans can bring their ticket stubs from the Tuesday, January 27 game to the Cricket Arena Box Office anytime between now and game time on Sunday, February 8. For additional information, fans may call the Checkers office at (704) 342-4423,
