Columbus's Lewis Suspended One Game

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended Columbus right wing Carlyle Lewis for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game # 621 vs. Augusta on January 24.

At 18:48 of the third period, Lewis delivered a forceful two-handed cross check to an Augusta player. For his actions he was assessed a minor penalty for cross checking under Rule 50(a). Lewis is suspended one game under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline.

Lewis will miss Columbus' game vs. Mississippi (Jan. 27).
