Texas Wildcatters News Release

BEAUMONT, TX (January 27, 2004) – Texas Wildcatters Head Coach Robert Dirk announced today the team has signed forward Ryan Fultz. As per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 25-year-old Fultz has three years of professional hockey experience in the ECHL. In his rookie season with the New Orleans Brass, he had a career high 50 points in 43 games. The 5-11, 200 pound left wing represented the Arkansas RiverBlades at the 2001-02 ECHL All-Star Game. Last season Fultz played 45 games in the ECHL with the Lexington Men O'War and five games with the San Diego Gulls of the now defunct WCHL. Fultz is expected to be in the line up this weekend and will wear number 10 for the Wildcatters.

Texas hosts a pair of games this weekend at Ford Arena. On Friday night, the Pensacola Ice Pilots return to Southeast Texas for the fifth game of the season. Saturday, the Mississippi Sea Wolves will face-off against the Wildcatters in Game Seven of the Nextel Cup. Both games start at 7:05 p.m.
