Checkers March Forth With Hope

Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers and the March Forth with Hope Foundation will team up for tomorrow night's game on March 4th to help raise awareness and funds for the organization.
The first 200 fans in attendance for the game will receive a free Hope wrist band. Also during the event, Harris Teeter will provide a sheet cake that will be sold for $1 per slice with proceeds going back to the foundation. The Men's Warehouse will also take part in the night's festivities. They will raffle off gift cards valued at $400 each for $5.

March Forth with Hope:
The March Forth with Hope Foundation provides financial assistance to families battling cancer or other life-threatening diseases. The Foundation was established by Stuart and Shelby Stout in memory of their daughter, Hope Stout, shortly after she lost her courageous fight with cancer.
Based in Matthews, NC, the March Forth With Hope Foundation is a fully accredited 501(C)3 trust and is fully compliant with all IRS regulations governing non-profit organizations.
The Checkers are in their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL. Their next home game takes place on March 4 against the Gwinnett Gladiators. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date. The Checkers are in their third season of play at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting at just $175.
