
Cava Goes On IR; Campbell Activated

BILOXI, Miss. â The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that defenseman Chris Cava has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve, while left wing Darryl Campbell has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve.
Cava, 24, has appeared in nine games this season with the Sea Wolves picking up 51 penalty minutes, which is third overall in the ECHL. The 6-foot and 200-pound native of Thunder Bay, Ontario is in his third season with Mississippi and fourth full year of professional hockey.
Campbell, 28, comes off the IR after missing four games. The 6-foot and 195-pound native of Strathroy, Ontario has appeared in five games this season with Mississippi, posting two penalty minutes.
Campbell is expected to be in the Sea Wolves line-up at 7:35 p.m. tonight as Mississippi hosts the Louisiana IceGators at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game promotion features $2 hotdogs and $2 drafts from 6:30-:30 p.m.
