Captains To Host The Jim Brickman Summer Musicfest On August 7 At Classic Park

CLEVELAND, OH 2010 - The Lake County Captains, the class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, and WDOK 102.1 FM are pleased to announce the Jim Brickman Summer Musicfest on Saturday, August 7 at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio. The festival will feature Jim Brickman performing his hit songs alongside a diverse showcase of talented musicians including Michael Cavanaugh, the star of Billy Joel's Broadway musical Movin' Out, Country music superstar Collin Raye, Cleveland favorite vocalist Anne Cochran, award-winning Country musician Ty Herndon and the emcee at the Summer MusicFest is Robin Meade, the host of HLN Morning Express. These performers, as well as others, will deliver a day of the most memorable performances for music lovers traveling near and far. Hosted by Cleveland native Jim Brickman, this festival will include a musical celebration perfect for the whole family, including a kids zone with inflatable games and activities, great food and beverage offerings and a great atmosphere. Classic Park, a facility that has hosted several concerts in its eight-year history and is well-known for the intimate atmosphere guests experience during concert events. All kids ages 12 and under are free in general admission seating.

Brickman, a mutli-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated pianist and songwriter, was born and raised in Shaker Heights and studied music at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music. Along the way, he has met some great friends in the industry and is thrilled to share the stage with them for one night only.
