
Captains Announce Inaugural Charity Golf Event

Lake County Captains News Release
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will host an inaugural charity golf event on Tuesday, July 27 at Little Mountain Country Club in Concord. Net proceeds from the event will benefit Lake County Captains Charities, the non-profit arm of the Captains organization.
Individual golfers can sign-up to play for only $150 while the cost of a foursome is $500. All golf packages will include a buffet lunch, player autograph session, an 18-hole scramble golf tournament and a dinner following the round. There will be various prizes for longest drive, closet to the pin, a hole-in-one and a putting challenge. The event will offer raffle items as well.
The mission of Captains Charities is to provide charitable support to community organizations that reflect the values and vision of Captains Charities. The organization will lead, organize, and operate fund-raising and development initiatives to generate financial support to realize it's charitable and community Mission. The organization annually contributes thousands of dollars to local non-profit organizations throughout the region.
Little Mountain Country Club has been consistently listed among the top public access golf courses in northern Ohio and was also awarded the coveted 5-star ranking from Golf Digest in 2006.

CAPTAINS GAME TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Fans may visit CaptainsBaseball.com for information on alternate routes to and from Classic Park during the current construction that is taking place on Route 91. The Captains are working with the City of Eastlake and ODOT to ensure the smoothest possible traffic flow for fans attending games at Classic Park until the construction is completed.
