
Bees Announce Bark in the Park Day at Community Field

Burlington, IA (April 14, 2010) - The Bees have partnered with the Des Moines County Humane Society, PAW of North Lee County, and Burlington Regional Dog Park to announce Bark in the Park Day on Sunday, April 25th at 2:00 pm.
When the Bees take on the Cedar Rapids Kernels that day, fans will have the opportunity to bring their dog to Community Field to enjoy a day of baseball with their beloved pet. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Other rules and information will be handed out as the fans (and dogs) arrive.
Representatives from the Des Moines County Society and PAW of North Lee County will be at the game showing dogs that are up for adoption. Also in attendance will be representatives from the five sponsors of the event: Summer Street Animal Clinic, Horse & Hound, Allgood Animal Hospital, all of Burlington, Hometown Veterinary Care of New London and Northeast Animal Hospital of Mt. Pleasant.
