Captain Jake Gannon Returns to Utah

Ontario, California- Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that captain Jake Gannon has rejoined the team from the AHL's Peoria Rivermen.

Gannon departed Utah on November 5 with one goal and four assists for five points in seven games. In Peoria, the second-year pro had one assist and a plus-four in 15 games.

The 23-year-old Illinois native split his rookie season last year between Utah and the AHL.

Utah returns to action tonight in Ontario. Face-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

The Grizzlies open a five-game in eight-day home stand Wednesday, December 15 with Las Vegas. All games are scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
