Blades See Two Recalled to AHL

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that forwards Francis Lemieux and Matthew Pistilli have been recalled to the American Hockey League by the Manitoba Moose and Charlotte Checkers respectively.

Lemieux heads to Manitoba as the second ranked scorer in the ECHL with 31 points (10g, 21a) in 25 games with the Everblades this season. The 26-year-old was just named the ECHL's Player of the Week for last week's action after he tallied nine points in three games, and has picked up points in four of the last five games.

Lemieux returns to the AHL where he has spent the majority of his career. The Sherbrooke, Quebec native has 249 career AHL games of experience with Hamilton and Grand Rapids since his rookie season in 2005.

Pistilli returns to the AHL where he spent most of last season with Albany playing in 41 games. This season the 22-year-old has notched 28 points (14g, 14a) in 24 games. Pistilli's goal total currently leads the ECHL and his point total ranks fourth in the ECHL. The Montreal, Quebec native heads to the AHL having collected points in four straight games.
