Toledo Walleye Acquire Jason Lepine from Bakersfield

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that the team has acquired defenseman Jason Lepine (la-pin) from the Bakersfield Condors for future considerations.

Lepine comes to Toledo after appearing in 21 games this season with the Condors. The 25-year-old defenseman posted two goals with 12 assists with Bakersfield. The native of Cornwall, Ontario has skated in 192 games as a professional after making his professional debut with Corpus Christi in the CHL (2006-07). Jason has skated in six games in the AHL with Peoria, Albany, and Rockford. He has collected 26 professional goals and 76 assists.
