Canucks Recall Bobby Sanguinetti from Comets

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have recalled defenceman Bobby Sanguinetti from the AHL Utica Comets.

Sanguinetti, 26, has played 27 games with the Utica Comets this season and is tied for third in team scoring with 17 points (8-9-17). The Trenton, New Jersey native has appeared in 45 NHL games with the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers, collecting six points (2-4-6).

The 6'3", 190-pound defenceman signed with Vancouver as a free agent on July 1, 2014.
