Binghamton Signs Mannino

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced they have signed goaltender Peter Mannino to a standard player contract.

Mannino, 30, began the 2014-15 season in the East Coast Hockey League with the Toledo Walleye before signing with the Kalamazoo Wings on October 24. After appearing in just one contest, the Wings released Mannino on November 17.

The Farmington Hills, MI, native signed a Player Tryout Contract with the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League on November 18 and saw time in three contests going 0-1-0-0 with a 2.34 goals-against average and a 0.919 save percentage.

Last season Mannino appeared in 18 contests with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins registering an 11-4-1 record with a 1.56 goals-against average and 0.932 save percentage.

Mannino will wear number 31 for Binghamton.
