Canadiens Assign Aaron Palushaj to Bulldogs

MONTREAL (October 25, 2011) - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs, and is scheduled to join the team in Albany, New York for tonight's game against the Devils.

Palushaj, 22, had played in four games for Montreal since being recalled from Hamilton on October 10th. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward was pointless with 2 shots, an even plus / minus rating and 5:47 average time on ice with the Canadiens this season. In one game with the Bulldogs, Palushaj recorded two assists, three shots and a +1 rating. Palushaj competed in 68 games with the 'Dogs in 2010-2011, posting 57 points (22 goals, 35 assists). The native of Livonia, Michigan also played in three games with the Habs in 2010-2011, going pointless.

The Bulldogs face the Albany Devils on the road tonight at 7:00 P.M. and return home to Copps Coliseum on Sunday at 3:00 P.M. for a game against the Abbotsford Heat.
