B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled goaltender Brian Stewart from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Stewart, 26, made his regular season debut while making 30 saves in the Jackals' 7-3 victory over the Trenton Titans on Oct. 14. In two games with Elmira this season, Stewart has posted a record of 1-1-0 with 3.01 goals-against average and .933 save percentage.

The 6-4, 195-pound net minder spent part of the 2010-11 campaign with the Adirondack Phantoms. In 10 games with the Phantoms he posted a 4-5-0 record with 3.05 goals-against average and a .891 save percentage. Stewart also appeared in 29 ECHL games last season with Bakersfield and Greenville, compiling a 20-6-0 record, 2.25 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage.

Also today, the B-Sens announce that they have signed forward Mike Radja to a professional try-out contract.

Radja, 26, has recorded seven points (four goals, three assists) in five games with Elmira this season.

The 6-0, 180-pound forward spent the 2010-11 season with the Augsburg Panther of the German Elite League. In 49 games with Augsburg, Radja contributed 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points.

The native of Yorkville, Ill. has appeared in 107 career American Hockey League games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Rockford IceHogs and Syracuse Crunch, amassing 50 points (23 goals, 27 assists) and 38 penalty minutes.

The B-Sens host the Rochester Americans tonight at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $18.50 for side seating, $17.50 for end seating.
