Winston-Salem Dash News Release

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- C Daniel Gonzalez transferred from the disabled list to Winston-Salem

- RHP Yelmison Peralta placed on the seven-day disabled list (retroactive to June 2)

- OF Luis Robert reinstated off the disabled list and transferred to Low-A Kannapolis

After earning a promotion to Winston-Salem from Kannapolis on May 10, Peralta made six relief appearances, striking out 12 across nine innings and earning one save. The right-hander held opponents to a .219 average.

Robert, who has been sidelined by a thumb injury that he suffered during Spring Training, is the White Sox third-best prospect, according to MLB Pipeline. The Cuban outfielder is also considered the 25th-best prospect in all of baseball by the same publication.

Gonzalez has played just one game for Winston-Salem this season, going 1-for-3 with an RBI against the Potomac Nationals on May 25. The catcher played 35 games for the Dash in 2017, batting .236 with one home run.

The Dash's current roster stands at 25 players, the Carolina League maximum, with three on the disabled list.
