
Bush activated from DL, Aguilar reassigned

Fort Wayne, IN - Shortstop Matt Bush was activated from the disabled list today and infielder Abraham Aguilar was sent to the Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League, Fort Wayne Wizards and San Diego Padres officials announced.
Bush was placed on the disabled list on July 11 after joining the Wizards on June 22 of this season. Bush, the number one overall pick by the Padres in last year's June Amateur Draft, is currently hitting .258 with three doubles, four runs batted in and eight runs scored in 19 games.
Aguilar was sent to Eugene on July 7 and returned to Fort Wayne after appearing in 43 games to start the season with the Wizards when Bush was placed on the disabled list. He is hitting .202 with 17 runs scored, four doubles and seven runs batted in for Fort Wayne.
The Wizards current four-game road trip continues tonight in Battle Creek, Michigan against the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays (Tampa Bay Devil Rays affiliate).
Fort Wayne returns to Memorial Stadium for an eight-game homestand starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday against the Clinton Lumber Kings (Texas Rangers affiliate).
