The Burlington Bees defeated the Beloit Snappers 9-1 at Pohlman Field tonight. This is the fourth straight win over Beloit for Burlington. The Bees scored early and often as they plated two runs in the first and in the third as they led 4-0 after three innings. Burlington would add another run in the fourth and the fifth innings as they increased their lead to 6-0. Burlington plated three more runs in the seventh as they took a 9-0 advantage. The Snappers would score a run in the bottom of the eighth to make it a 9-1 final. Simon Beresford (4-3) took the loss going four innings allowing five runs on six hits. Steve Moss and Hernan Iribarren each went two for four.
