Prince George, BC - Prince George Cougars Captain Brett Connolly will serve as an Assistant Captain for Team WHL in the CHL SUBWAY® Super Series game on Thursday, November 18 at CN Centre in Prince George.

Connolly joins Tyson Barrie of the Kelowna Rockets and Matt MacKenzie of the Calgary Hitmen as Assistant Captains in the sixth and final game of the 2010 CHL SUBWAY® Super Series, with Swift Current Broncos forward Cody Eakin named Captain for Team WHL that night.

"It's pretty neat to have the game in my home town in Prince George and for them to want me to wear a letter is pretty cool too," said Connolly, leading the Cougars in scoring this season with 15 goals and 25 points in 21 games. "It's a big accomplishment and I'm pretty proud of that."

Connolly played in the CHL SUBWAY® Super Series last year and is joined by Cougars Assistant Captain Charles Inglis on Team WHL for Thursday's meeting with Team Russia. Cougars Head Coach Dean Clark is an Assistant Coach for Team WHL Thursday night.

The CHL SUBWAY® Super Series game in Prince George starts at 7:00pm at CN Centre. Tickets are still available by calling Ticketmaster at 250-564-5585.
