Spokane Adds Defenseman to Roster

Spokane Chiefs News Release
The Spokane Chiefs have announced that defenseman Kyle Krzyzaniak (kriz-AN-ee-ak) will be added to their roster in time for their three game road trip this weekend. The 18-year-old has appeared in two games, one in each of the last two seasons, with the Brandon Wheat Kings.
"Kyle will help with our depth on defense," Chiefs General Manager Tim Speltz said. "With an injury to Garrett Leedahl and the expectation of Jared Cowen playing with Team Canada at the World Junior Tournament we felt it was necessary to compliment our numbers at that position."
Krzyzaniak has appeared in 12 games this season with the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, scoring one goal, three points and recording eight penalty minutes. Last year, he had played 50 games with the Portage Terriers and scored six goals and 20 points.
Spokane, winners of three in a row, will travel to Seattle, Tri-City and Portland on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
