
Braves Fall to BlueClaws in 11 Innings

Rome, GA - The Lakewood BlueClaws topped the Rome Braves Monday night 4-0 at State Mutual Stadium before 1,661 fans.
Rome's Touki Toussaint had a no-hitter through sixth innings before being relieved by Daniel Cordero in the seventh. Cordero gave up Lakewood's only hit until the eleventh inning when Mitchell Osnowitz allowed two walks and a Scott Kingery (2) three-run homerun giving the BlueClaws a 3-0 lead. Kyle Martin (2) followed with a solo blast for the 4-0 score and the BlueClaws held on for win. The Braves had chances in the ninth and tenth with a runner at third and one out but couldn't push the winning run across the plate.
Matt Hockenberry (4-3) gets the victory while Mitchell Osnowitz (0-2) the loss.
