WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder lost 4-2 to the Texas Brahmas at the Kansas Coliseum on Friday night.
Texas opened a 2-0 lead late in the first period on goals from Pete Rouleau and Jason Deitsch. Chris Greene put Wichita on the scoreboard in the second at 10:32 in his return to the lineup from injury. It was Greene's third goal of the season.
The Brahmas took a 3-1 lead on Scott Sheppard's goal at 15:55 in the second. Wichita cut it to 3-2 in the third, when Pascal Bedard deflected a rebound into the net for his first goal of the season at 10:12. Texas took their third two-goal lead of the night at 15:04 on Sheppard's second goal.
Wichita outshot Texas 35 to 22, including 17 to five in the third period.
