LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will look for their fifth straight win Saturday when they host the Amarillo Gorillas at the LEC. Game time is 7:30pm. The four for $40 is back for the holiday season, get four tickets for just $40. Call 718-BUCK (2825).

The Bucks have caught fire during their season-high seven-game homestand, going 4-1 and winning their last four games by a combined 15-5 score. The Bucks are 8-2 in their last 10 games.
Laredo's fourth straight victory came thanks to a 4-2 win over Rio Grande Valley on Thursday night. Rick Kozak and Darryl Smith each picked up a goal and an assist, with Jeff Bes and Bobby Russell each handing out two helpers. Sebastien Centomo picked up his seventh win of the campaign, as he set aside 25 of 27 Killer Bee shots.
Entering Friday night's CHL action, Jeff Bes is tied for the league lead in scoring with 22 points (3-19=22). Bes'19 assists are top in the league, and he has scored a point in 12 of 13 games this season, including the last 11.
Amarillo comes into Saturday's game fresh off of a hard-fought 3-2 loss in Oklahoma City Thursday night. Former Gorilla Bill Vandermeer scored the game-winner for the Blazers just 27 seconds into the third period to beat his old team.
Sam Ftorek leads Amarillo in scoring with 17 points (4-13=17).
The Gorillas are in the midst of a six-game road trip, in which they are 1-3 thus far.
Saturday's meeting between the Bucks and Gorillas is the only one of the year at the LEC. The other three times Laredo and Amarillo will meet will take place at the Amarillo Civic Center.

*Give Blood, Play Hockey Blood Drive Saturday*
The Bucks will hold their annual Give Blood, Play Hockey Blood Drive this Saturday (Nov 22) from 10am-8pm at the LEC. All donors will receive TWO FREE TICKETS to the Bucks Nov. 25 game, a Bucks t-shirt, coupons to Papa John's and Chick Fil-A, and be entered to win one of three grand prizes!
Last year over 300 donors gave blood to set a new Laredo record. This season the Blood Drive organizers want to have over 400 donors, to break last year's mark.
*Teddy Bear Toss Nov 25*
The Bucks will hold their Teddy Bear Toss on Tuesday, November 25 when the Bucks host Mississippi at the LEC. Fans can bring any new stuffed animal to the game, and toss it onto the ice during the first intermission. All donations will benefit Jugeton's International.
