Brady heads back to Brevard County

CHARLESTON, WV (August 9, 2005) - The West Virginia Power, Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers have made another change to their roster.

Today utility player Josh Brady was promoted to High A Brevard County of the Florida State League and catcher Richard Cormier will take his place on the roster.

Brady was hitting .246 with 6 homeruns and 48 runs batted in through 80 games with the Power. He spent time at first base, third base left field and he also pitched in 3 games. Brady joined the Power in early May after beginning the season with the Brevard County Manatees.

Richard Cormier is a switch-hitting catcher and was signed by the Brewers as a free agent. He spent time earlier this year in the Northern League, with the Lincoln Saltdogs as a second baseman.

The Power will conclude the four game series against the Greensboro Grasshoppers at First Horizon Park on Tuesday afternoon. The Power will throw right-handed pitcher Derek DeCarlo (6-3, 4.44) and the Grasshoppers will counter with left-handed pitcher Adam Brandenburg (4-6, 4.57). The first pitch is scheduled for 12:30 PM.
