BATTLE CREEK, MI - For the second night in a row the Bombers were outdueled on the mound as La Crosse won their 6th consecutive game by a final score 3-2.

Kyle Teague gave up just two runs in 5.2 innings on the mound as the starting pitcher for the Bombers. Both of those runs came in the fourth inning, as Jimmy Bosco and Rich Prigatano hit back-to-back home runs to put La Crosse up 2-0.

With the bases loaded in the 7th inning, a bases loaded walk from Ethan Bramschreiber brought home the 3rd Logger run. Battle Creek responded with a 2-run double from Colin Willis in the top of the 8th inning, but it was not enough. Jonathon Van Eaton came into the game in the 9th and got his 13th save of the season.

The loss was the 6th consecutive defeat for the Bombers. They look to avoid the sweep tomorrow night at 7:05 ET. Caleb Vincent gets the ball on the mound.
