
Blues Recall Chris Porter

St. Louis, Mo. (November 24, 2008) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled forward Chris Porter from the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Porter, 24, is in his second stint with the team this season and has skated in five games for the Blues, collecting two points (one goal, one assist).
The 6-2, 201-pound forward has played in 13 games for the Rivermen this season, notching four points (one goal, three assists) along with 21 penalty minutes.
The Toronto, Ontario native was originally the Chicago Blackhawks ninth round selection, 282nd overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rivermen return to the ice on Wednesday to take on the Admirals in Milwaukee. Faceoff is set for 7:00 pm from the Bradley Center and the game will be broadcast on Hippie 101.1FM as well as online through www.rivermen.net.
They will be back at Carver Arena on Friday to welcome the Rockford IceHogs to town. Jennette McCurdy of Nickelodeon's "iCarly" will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs, presented by CEFCU.
