Blue Jays 2B Devon Travis Joins Bisons on MLB Injury Rehab

Toronto Blue Jays 2B DEVON TRAVIS has joined the Buffalo Bisons on an MLB injury rehab assignment. The infielder is scheduled to bat leadoff as the designated hitter for the Herd in game one of tonight's doubleheader against the Rochester Red Wings at Coca-Cola Field at 5:35 p.m. (Gates: 5:00 p.m.).

Travis was played on the Blue Jays disabled list following their game on May 21 with left shoulder inflammation. In his first 36 Major League games, the 24-year old hit .271 with 10 doubles, seven home runs and 26 RBI. His appearance with the Buffalo Bisons will be his Triple-A debut, as he spent all of year with Double-A Erie of the Detroit Tigers organization.
