
Blades trade defenseman Peto to Mississippi

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that defenseman Kyle Peto has been traded to the Mississippi Sea Wolves for future considerations.
Peto played in six games with the Everblades this season recording a goal and two assists and registering a plus-5 rating. The 25-year-old was in his first season with the Everblades after playing the 2007-08 season in England with the Basingstoke Bison where he registered 22 points (2g, 20a) in 39 games.
Prior to heading to England, the Lethbridge, Alberta native won a Kelly Cup Championship with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL in 2006-07 by finishing off the regular season with 21 points (8g, 13a) in 47 games and skating in 10 Kelly Cup Playoff games.

The Everblades return to action on Friday, November 21 when they travel to Augusta to take on the Lynx from James Brown Arena at 7:30 p.m.! The Everblades' next home game is Friday, December 12 when they host the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:30 p.m.
