Florida Everblades News Release

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced today that goaltender Kyle Gajewski has been assigned to the team by the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Gajewski joins the Everblades to fill the goaltending spot left open by Anton Khudobin's call-up to the Houston Aeros of the AHL last week. Gajewski has split time this season in the ECHL between the Cincinnati Cyclones and the Johnstown Cheifs.

The 21-year-old rookie began the season with the Cyclones where he played in 21 games, posting a record of 7-10-2 with a 2.72 goals against average. Gajewski most recently played in three games with Johnstown, with two of those games being against the Everblades last week. With the Chiefs the London, Ontario native was 1-1-0, with a 3.40 GAA.

Prior to turning pro Gajewski spent four years at the junior level in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sault-Ste. Marie Greyhounds. His best season in Sault-Ste. Marie came in his final season in 2007-08 when he saw action in 60 games posting an impressive 39-16-4 record with a 2.44 GAA and a .913 save percentage. Overall Gajewski was 114-71-21 in 214 career OHL games with a 2.72 GAA.
