Trenton's Snetsinger Named CCM ECHL Rookie Of The Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Trenton left wing Brad Snetsinger is the CCM ECHL Rookie of the Month for February.

The 21 year old, who is under contract to New Jersey of the National Hockey League, led the Devils in February with 11 assists and 19 points to help Trenton go 7-4-2 and move back into Kelly Cup Playoff contention in the North Division.

The Ajax, Ontario native had six multiple-point games during the month including a career-high five points and his first hat trick in a 9-7 win against South Carolina on Feb. 21. He had two assists and three points in a 4-3 win against Elmira and scored the game-winning goal and had two assists in a 5-3 win at Reading.

The 6-foot-1 and 190-pound forward is third on the team with 17 goals and is tied for second with four game-winning goals. He is fourth on the Devils with 20 assists and 37 points which ranks 19th among league rookies. Snetsinger has also played in the American Hockey League where he has one goal and six penalty minutes in eight games for Lowell.

Snetsinger played the last four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League where he had 211 points (105g-106a) and 192 penalty minutes in 253 regular season games and five points (2g-3a) and 13 penalty minutes in 15 playoff games for Mississauga and Windsor.
