
Munce stops 45 shots but Sea Wolves bitten by Blades 3-1

ESTERO, FL - The Mississippi Sea Wolves got 45 saves from Ryan Munce and a third period goal from Jason Tejchma, but it wasn't enough as the Florida Everblades took a 3-1 victory in the first of back games at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida.
Mark Lee got the Everblades on the board at 11:19 of the second period when he hammered home the rebound of a shot from Kevin Baker with the Blades on the power play.
Florida extended its' lead early in the third period when Ernie Hartlieb put a loose puck past Munce for his 16th goal of the year on the power play at 6:07.
Mississippi put goaltender Ryan Munce on the bench with 90 seconds remaining in favor of an extra attacker, but a turnover in the neutral zone resulted in an empty-net goal for Florida's Doug O'Brien.
Eleven seconds later, Jason Tejchma snuck behind the Florida defense, broke in alone and scored to spoil Everblades' goaltender David Leggio's shutout at 19:01 of the third.
Ryan Munce made 45 saves to earn a loss, and the Sea Wolves were 0-for-5 on the power play.
The next broadcast of Sea Wolves hockey is Saturday when the Sea Wolves visit the Florida Everblades at 6:35 CT, and will be heard on the B2 Networks and at www.msseawolves.com. The pre-game show presented by Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will begin 15 minutes before the opening faceoff!
