Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders News Release
Moosic, Pa. - The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) saw the Buffalo Bisons tally four unanswered runs to score a 6-5, come-from-behind victory on Thursday night at PNC Field. The Bisons (7-8) charged back to score their third victory in four tries against the RailRiders (8-6).
Diego Moreno (2-1) shouldered the loss after allowing three runs on five hits in an inning of work. Chad Jenkins (2-1) took home the win with a scoreless 2.1 innings and Ryan Tepera shut the door in the ninth for his second save.
SWB got on the board first when Pete Kozma worked a bases-loaded walk off Casey Lawrence to force home Chris Parmelee in the second inning. A.J. Jimenez countered in the third inning for Buffalo, however, booming a two-run home run off starter Luis Cessa out to left.
Gary Sanchez made sure the RailRiders didn't trail for long. The catcher crushed his second homer of the season out of the stadium to open the bottom of the inning. Rob Refsnyder singled and worked his way to third. With two away, he scored on a wild pitch for a 3-2 lead.
Parmelee and Donovan Solano teamed for consecutive, two-out doubles in the fifth inning to make it 4-2. Against reliever Chad Jenkins, Lane Adams singled to left and scored Solano for a 5-2 lead.
Buffalo responded with a run in the seventh of a single to right by Jimenez. The Bisons scored three times on five hits off Moreno in the decisive eighth. Jimenez tallied his fourth RBI of the night by working a bases-loaded walk to cap the scoring.

- Aaron Judge singled in the ninth to finish 1-for-5. He extended his hitting streak to seven games.
- 6-of-7 hits for Gary Sanchez have gone for extra bases (three doubles, one triple and two home runs).
