Today's Game

This evening, the Wings take on the Rochester Red Wings in the first game of their two-game set. Buffalo will then head to Lehigh Valley to square off against the IronPigs for two games. The Herd returns home following the brief roadtrip to face the Syracuse Mets.

Yesterday's Game: BUF 4, DUR 0

The Bisons held the Bulls to just three hits in the ballgame in Sunday's win, their sixth shutout victory of the season. 1B Rowdy Tellez, OF Jonathan Davis and C Michael De La Cruz each collected two hits a piece and combined to score three runs.

Rochester Red Wings (3-3)

Buffalo and Rochester are meeting for the third time this season and first at Sahlen Field. The Red Wings took two of the three games in their last meeting on 5/31-6/2.

Today's Starter

RHP T.J. Zeuch takes the ball for the Bisons in his seventh start this season. The former first round pick tossed six innings giving up four runs on ten hits in his last start on 7/24 against the Knights. Zeuch looks to find his Pre All-Star Break niche where he posted a 3.86 ERA in three starts (16.1 IP) compared to his 6.06 ERA in three starts after the break (16.1 IP).

Rowdy Tellez

1B Rowdy Tellez hit his fifth home run of the season with Buffalo on Sunday night. Since being optioned to the Bisons, Tellez has picked up base hits in 10 of his 13 ball games including a six game hitting streak. In the streak, the first baseman has gone 9-21 (.429 AVG) with 9R, 4HR, 6RBI, and 5BB (.538 OBP).

Tayler Saucedo

LHP Tayler Saucedo threw three shutout innings yielding just one hit and one walk in addition to earning his sixth win of the season on Sunday. The win puts him just two behind Zach Jackson for the team lead in victories.

Michael De La Cruz

C Michael De La Cruz collected two base hits and drove in his thirteenth run of the season on Sunday. The backstop has hit or walked in 23 of his 31 games with Buffalo including six multi-hit games. De La Cruz has hit .273 (8-29) in nine games this month after going .343 (12-35) in June.

Blue Jays

Toronto (40-67) surrendured all 10 runs in the final five innings in their 10-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. Eight of the nine starters in the Jays lineup had a base hit including 3B Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who went 3-4 with a run and four RBI. 1B Justin Smoak and OF/1B Billy McKinney left the yard in the defeat as well. LHP Thomas Pannone is set to face RHP Brad Keller in the first game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, MO with first pitch scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
