JUST ANOTHER MANIC MONDAY: The Bats hit the road for a 4-game road trip with a pair of games against IL West Division rivals Toledo and Columbus for 2 games apiece. Louisville is coming off its first winning homestand (4-2) and first series sweep of the season, looking to capture its 10th series win of the season. LOU will play each of its next 7 games against divisional opponents after wrapping up their previous 13 games against out-of-division clubs with an 8-5 record.

AGAINST TOLEDO: Louisville and Toledo meet for a two-game set, the first time these clubs have met in Toledo since April 29-May 1. The Bats are 7-10 against the Hens this season and 3-4 on the road, looking to win their first series against them since July 30-August 1, 2018, when they took 2 of 3.

SWEEP DREAMS ARE MADE OF THESE: The Bats are coming off a three-game series sweep of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, their first sweep of 2019. LOU had last swept a series when they defeated Indianapolis in both games of a two-game set at Louisville Slugger Field from August 24-25, 2018, and had last swept a 3+ game series when they swept a four-game series at Syracuse from July 19-22, 2018. LOU had last swept a home series of 3+ games from June 1-3, 2018 vs. Gwinnett.

CONNECT FOUR: Right fielder Aristides Aquino belted his 28th home run of the season, his fourth straight game with a homer. He's the first player in RiverBats/Bats history (since 1999) to accomplish that feat. Aquino was the fourth Bat this season to homer in 3 straight, joining Josh VanMeter (4/8-4/10), Narciso Crook (7/17-7/19) and Blake Trahan (7/20-7/23).

CROOK SMART: Left fielder Narciso Crook hit a leadoff homer for Louisville in Sunday's 7-3 win, his second leadoff homer of the season and LOU's fourth as a team. He would also homer in the sixth inning, extending the Bats' league lead of individual multi-homer efforts to 20. Crook joins Alex Blandino (6/6 at CHA) as the only LOU players to hit a leadoff homer & another later in the game this season.

TRENDING UP: The Bats are 10-7 since the All-Star break, 13-11 in the month of July and have won 2 of their last 3 series, including the recent sweep of the RailRiders. Louisville is also fewer than 18 games back of first place (17.5 GB) for the first time since June 24, and trail Toledo for third place in the IL West by just 4 games. With a win tonight, LOU will have its first 4-game winning streak since July 31-August 3, 2018.

TOUGH SCHEDULE: Louisville has played 66% (70 of 106) of their games against above-.500 teams this season, twice as many games as contests against below-.500 opponents this season. LOU is 30-40 (.429) against above-.500 teams, and 13-22 (.371) in 35 games against below-.500 teams.

START ME UP: Right-hander Jesus Reyes tossed 3.0 scoreless innings in his Sunday start, continuing a trend of effective starting pitcher for Louisville during the month. Since July 1, Louisville starters own a 3.47 ERA (41er/106.1ip). Going into the month, LOU's starter's ERA was 6.45 (277er/386.2ip). The fantastic showing in the month has brought the starter's ERA down to 5.76 coming into the Toledo series.

- Eric Stout (4.0 IP) and Reyes are the first pair of Bats starters to toss back-to-back scoreless outings this season. It was last done on July 24 last season in a doubleheader against Buffalo, when Robert Stephenson (7.0 IP complete game) and Domingo Tapia (2.0 IP) did it.
