Hoover, AL - Alexander Colome scattered two hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 6.2 scoreless IP as the Montgomery Biscuits (27-27, 61-63) blanked the Birmingham Barons (21-33, 61-63), 11-0, in front of 5,813 fans Friday night at Regions Park.

Montgomery took a 1-0 advantage in the third inning when Hak-Ju Lee drew a one-out walk, stole second and third base before sprinting home on a passed ball by Barons catcher Jason Bour.

The Biscuits added to their advantage in the fourth inning behind a RBI single by Kyeong Kang and a RBI double by Isaias Velasquez and seized a 3-0 edge.

Montgomery added seven unearned runs in the top of the fifth inning as the Biscuits sent 11 men to the plate. A two-out, bases-clearing, three-run double down the left-field line by Henry Wrigley helped the Biscuits capture a 10-run lead, 10-0.

Colome (3-2) earned the win for the Biscuits as the righty tossed 6.2 IP scoreless IP with 2 hits, 3 walks and 4 strikeouts.

Nevin Griffith (5-8) received the loss for the Barons as the right-hander surrendered eight runs (three earned) on 6 hits, 6 walks and 3 strikeouts in 4.2 IP.

Birmingham and Montgomery conclude their seasonal series in the finale of their five-game set Saturday night with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m. at Regions Park. The Barons will send left-hander Justin Edwards (3-6, 4.87) to the mound while the Biscuits turn to right-hander Nick Barnese (6-7, 3.57).
