HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Stars return home on Sunday, August 21 for a five-game series against the Birmingham Barons (Chicago White Sox). It's a fun-filled series starting with a performance by the U.S. Army Materiel Command Band and concluding with a halfway to St. Paddy's Day celebration! You don't want to miss a second of the fun!

Sunday, August 21 - 6:43 p.m.

Sunday is the perfect day to spend with the family. Fans can present a church bulletin from Willowbrook Baptist Church to receive five general admission tickets for only $5! Head out to the ballpark for a wonderful night and bring the whole crew! The U.S. Army Materiel Command Band will perform the national anthem followed by a tribute to retiring Command Sergeant Major Jeffery Mellinger. Mellinger is the last Vietnam-era draftee to retire from active military duty.

Monday, August 22 - 6:43 p.m.

Did you get the memo' Case of the Mondays is back for another week of fun! Tell us the dumbest thing your boss ever said for your chance to win a case of soda, courtesy of Buffalo Rock! We'll read the best ones over the PA system. Just don't forget your flair!

B3, G28...Wednesday is AT&T Real Yellow Pages Bingo! Early arriving fans will get the chance to play old-fashioned bingo throughout the game! A different number will be read with every batter so pay attention! The first person with a completed bingo card to the Grandstand Team Store will win two meals to Jack's Restaurant and two tickets to an upcoming Stars game.

Thursday, August 25 - 6:43 p.m.

It's halfway to St. Paddy's Day and the Huntsville Stars and the Irish Society of North Alabama are celebrating! Join us for a very special, Irish-themed Bud Light Thirst-Aid Thursday! Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for a pre-game Ceili in the picnic patio, a family-friendly party including traditional Irish dancing performed by the Fitness Arts Center and traditional Irish music! There will be plenty of activities for kids and adults alike! Kids will be invited to kiss the Blarney Stone, an Irish tradition, and take pictures with the St. Paddy's Day themed photo boards! All fans 21 and older can buy 20-ounce draft green beers for just $2 through the seventh inning. After the game, stick around for a post-game concert by local Irish band Bourbon and Shamrocks. After the concert, fans can use their ID wristband to get in FREE at Sammy T's Music Hall in downtown Huntsville! Sammy T's is the official post-game party of your Huntsville Stars! New York Life will be at the stadium providing free child IDs Thursday night as well. This is a free and important service for all parents to check out. While you're there, enter the free raffle for a Huntsville Stars memorabilia! There's going to be something for everyone as we celebrate halfway to St. Paddy's Day!

Gates open at 6 p.m. with a 6:43 first pitch for every game this series, except Thursday, August 25. As always, the Bud Light Bullpen starts when the gates open and continues until the first pitch is thrown. All 20-ounce drafts are just $2 during that time period!
