Bike to the Dragons Game on June 2

Dayton, Ohio - The Dayton Dragons are offering fans a chance to "Bike to the Dragons Game" on Sunday, June 2nd, when the Dragons host the Lake county Captains at 2 PM at Fifth Third Field. New this year, the Dragons and the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission are also offering incentives to fans "alternative transportation" to get to the game.

Bike to the Game:

Our friends at Five Rivers MetroParks and the Drive Less, Live More campaign have arranged for free "Valet Bike Parking" on the plaza of Fifth Third Field for those who Bike to the Dragons game. Grab your family and friends, hop on your bikes and ride down to Fifth Third Field for the game.

Carpool to the Game:

Free carpool parking is also available for the first 10 cars to pre-register for selected Sunday games during the 2013 season! Our friends at the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission's RIDESHARE Program have arranged for reserved parking for ten (10) vehicles, that have exactly four (4) people in them, in the parking lot across from Fifth Third Field plaza at 409 E. Monument Ave (look for the yellow sign). All the pre-registered carpoolers will receive some car-related goodies and a lawn ticket to the game courtesy of MVRPC and Drive Less, Live More.

Pre-registered parking opens an hour before the scheduled start of each game. Everyone who registers for the special carpool parking, and actually uses it on the game day, must enter the parking lot as a carpool of four (4). Do not drop off your passengers before parking. Then, check-in with a Drive Less Live More team member to receive the Dayton Dragons lawn ticket.
