Big holiday plans for weekend games at Germain Arena

Florida Everblades News Release
ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades return to home to Germain Arena this weekend to host a pair of games against the Mississippi Sea Wolves, and the Everblades have plenty planned for their fans who attend the two games!
On Friday, December 19 the Everblades will be giving away a "Boys and Girls Club Super Card!" This super sized playing card will feature new Everblades head coach Malcolm Cameron and will be given away to the first 2,500 fans that enter the game.
Saturday, December 20 features several events as the Everblades host their "Holiday Game." First, all fans in attendance will receive a 2009 Everblades Team Calendar courtesy of Direct Impressions. Then, after the Everblades and Sea Wolves finish up their contest, the first 1,000 fans will exiting the arena will receive a Holiday Ornament courtesy of Trimmers Holiday Décor.
Also following the game, Everblades fans are invited to skate with Santa and the Everblades players! Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates with them to join the Everblades players and Santa on the ice for a holiday skate! The post-game skate will begin roughly 15-20 minutes after the game ends and will last until 11 p.m. For those who do not own their own skates, rentals will be available by the Pro Shop on a first-come-first served basis.
Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.
In addition, don't forget about the auction currently on-going for the 12-foot Christmas tree decorated with loads of Everblades memorabilia on the South Concourse of the arena! This tree was donated by Trimmers Holiday Décor and is currently up for auction. The proceeds raised from the auction will benefit Autism Speaks. The auction runs through 4 p.m. on December 20.
