Wheeling Nailers Offer Early Holiday Present With Free Kids Night

The Wheeling Nailers are offering an early holiday present for area youths this Friday night by letting all kids 14 and under come to the game for free when accompanied by an adult. There is a limit of 2 kids per adult for the Kids Free Night offer (regular kids price admission is $5).

This Friday's 'Showdown for First Place' game has the Nailers taking on the first place Johnstown Chiefs at 8:05 at WesBanco Arena and the Nailers are getting excited for all the kids they expect to arrive.

"Nailers hockey is such a wonderful form of family entertainment but it wouldn't be possible without all the families and kids who come to our games," said Wheeling Nailers President Rob Brooks. "This is a great opportunity for families to spend the evening together at a Nailers hockey game. We're extremely happy to be able to offer this Kids Free Night promotion at the Wheeling Nailers!"

The Nailers are also getting into the holiday spirit a little bit further in the Friday night game with their Ugly Holiday Sweater promotion. Wear your most colorful and outlandish festive sweater to the game and join the fun! The fan with the brightest and ugliest holiday sweater will win tickets to a Pittsburgh Penguins game.

"We're going to have a lot of fun with this," said Brooks. "Our staff will be wearing holiday sweaters too and it's just another silly and crazy type of promotion we like to have at Wheeling Nailers hockey games. Our fans love it when we do crazy promotions like these!"
